About me

Back

I’m an Auckland local and have been working with ceramics for five years. I started while studying design at university, then trained in Mexico, specialising in pre-Columbian ceramics and sculpture. I also spent time at a reputable art restoration workshop, working on gallery, sentimental and antique ceramics.

My restoration practice began with my own ceramics: pieces that broke in the kiln or in transit. I value longevity in the material, and I see restoration as a beautiful way to continue the life of ceramics.
